BBQ on the River is one of Paducah’s most iconic annual festivals — but like many long-running events, it needed fresh energy and a more intentional digital presence to reach new audiences and reconnect with the community. The nonprofit Beautiful Paducah brought me on board to help tell that story in a new way.

I created and managed the full social media strategy for the festival, developing custom content that captured the essence of the event: tradition, community, and flavor. This included brand-aligned photography and video content, day-of coverage, and strategic planning to enhance audience engagement before, during, and after the event.
